Bernie is the beagle mix who loves to sunbathe. She can sit all day in one spot, as long as the sun is shining. Even if it’s just a sliver of sunlight, Bernie will squeeze her body into it, and then fall asleep.
When she does take time out of her busy sunbathing schedule, Bernie hangs with her friend Kayla. They’ve both benefited from each other’s company. Kayla has gotten Bernie into playing for hours on end, and Bernie has introduced Kayla to the joys of relaxing in the sun for long periods of time.
Everyone here at JPM will miss her sunbathing presence, since Bernie is off to start a new life in Michigan. Good luck Bernie. May there be plenty of sun!
