Whenever Susie pulls up to Just Pet Me (head sticking out the window, tail at attention), we know it’s going to be an extra special day. Most days she brushes off whatever warm greeting we give her. She prefers to not waste any time and heads directly to the play area. Some days, though (if she’s in the right mood) she may just give us a quick glance acknowledging our presence. She doesn’t mean to offend, she’s just unable to shake her perpetually cool demeanor that we all appreciate and get a kick out of. The only time she doesn’t cast any shade our way is at meal time: her giddy stomping and her wide-eyed exuberance can’t hide her true colors. Regardless of her mood, this little foxhound is always a joy to have around and that is why we named her Dog of the Week!
